Terms of Use

Last updated 8 November 2026. These terms are an agreement between you and Playkraft, the maker of Mad Guess. By using the game, you agree to them.

The short version

  • Mad Guess is free to play, with two new puzzles a day. Mad Guess Unlimited is an optional subscription.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel, and Apple takes the payment.
  • Be kind to other players and don't try to cheat or break the game.
  • The puzzles are ours, and they're for you to play, not to copy or sell.

Who can play

You must be at least 13 to use Mad Guess. If you're under the age of majority where you live, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.

Your account

The app gives you a guest account when you start playing, and you sign in with Apple to keep your progress. You're responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your Apple Account secure. You can delete your account at any time in the app, under Account. The Privacy Policy explains what we collect and what deleting your account removes.

Free play and Mad Guess Unlimited

After the tutorial, you can play two new puzzles a day for free. One opens at midnight and the next at noon, in your local time. Mad Guess Unlimited lets you play as many as you like.

  • Price. Mad Guess Unlimited costs $3.99 a month or $19.99 a year in the United States. Prices in other countries are set in your local currency and may differ. The app shows the exact price before you buy.
  • Payment. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
  • Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
  • Free trials. If we offer a free trial, the app says how long it lasts before you start it. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, it becomes a paid subscription. Any unused part of a trial ends when you buy a subscription.
  • Cancelling. Open Account in the app and tap Manage Subscription, or go to Settings on your iPhone, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions. You keep Unlimited until the end of the period you've paid for. Deleting the app or your account doesn't cancel your subscription.
  • Refunds. Apple handles all payments, so refunds follow Apple's rules. Ask Apple for one atreportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Price changes. If the price changes, Apple tells you before it affects your subscription, and asks for your agreement where the law or Apple's rules require it.
  • Restoring. If you reinstall the app or move to a new device, tap Restore Purchases in Account, signed in to the Apple Account you subscribed with.

Playing fair

When you use Mad Guess, you agree not to:

  • Choose a username that's offensive, hateful, sexual, misleading or that pretends to be someone else.
  • Harass, threaten or spam other players, including through friend requests.
  • Use bots, scripts or other tools to play, collect puzzles or answers, or reach our servers outside the app.
  • Copy, share or publish the puzzles or their answers in bulk.
  • Try to get around the daily limit, break or overload the game, or reach data that isn't yours.
  • Reverse engineer the app, except where the law allows it.

We can change a username that breaks these rules, and we can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

Our content

The puzzles, pictures, characters, sounds and software in Mad Guess belong to Playkraft or the people who license them to us. We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app and play the puzzles on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own enjoyment and not for any commercial purpose. The stories in the puzzles are fiction, and any resemblance to real people or events is a coincidence.

Changes to the game

We keep improving Mad Guess, so features, puzzles and rules can change. We may need you to update the app to keep playing. If we ever stop running the game, we'll say so in the app first and stop selling subscriptions.

No warranty

We work hard to keep Mad Guess running and its puzzles fair, but the game is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we don't promise that it will always be available, error free or right for your purposes.

Limits on our liability

To the extent the law allows, Playkraft isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of Mad Guess. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Mad Guess in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be limited by agreement.

Apple

If you got Mad Guess from the App Store, these terms also apply:

  • These terms are between you and Playkraft only, not Apple. Playkraft, not Apple, is responsible for Mad Guess and its content.
  • Your licence lets you use Mad Guess only on Apple devices you own or control, as the App Store's terms allow.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Mad Guess.
  • If Mad Guess fails to meet a warranty that applies to it, you can tell Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid for the app, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Mad Guess.
  • Playkraft, not Apple, is responsible for any claims about Mad Guess, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
  • If anyone claims that Mad Guess or your use of it infringes their intellectual property, Playkraft, not Apple, is responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging that claim.
  • You confirm that you're not in a country subject to a US government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you're not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms, and once you accept them, Apple can enforce them against you.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters, we'll also tell you in the app. If you keep playing after a change, you accept the new terms.
